Bridget Black John's musical talent is on a whole other level. Mixed with other local artists' creativity and passion comes a masterpiece of an album. There's not a song on here I don't love. It covers a lot of different styles and genres, so there's really something in here for everyone! Favorite track: The Chalk Reads (feat. Michael Berger).

I feel so free and so fresh Let me tell you it's the best Light as a feather could be Full of this hope that's in me

Open up to the flow Let it show you where to go And remember that the seeds you sow Will eventually grow into something you know Something you saw a long time ago But you didn't know how to get there All you knew is that you cared and that you felt scared 'cause the corners aren't squared on the enigmatic path at which you stared. So you search and you strive For that which makes you feel alive And you push on and jump into a new song. Something that moves you along And makes you feel strong. So you take a breath of air And then you become aware That you have what you need to get there. And you take direction from the things that feel wrong That make your face long Open it up, what does it mean? You have to separate the layers to see what's in between. You don't learn by keeping your hands clean. So you search and you strive For that which makes you feel alive And you push on and jump into a new song. Something that moves you along And makes you feel strong.

about

This is a collaborative album featuring 6 players from Pittsburgh. Our paths crossed at an event we all played called FarmJammaLamma. This album is pure creative indulgence, weaving between electronic, funk, and psychedelic rock with no regard for genre constraints. I hope you enjoy it!
